How We Work Together

Every engagement is different, but the process is straightforward. We’ll define the work together, stay connected throughout the project, and make sure the knowledge remains with your team long after the engagement is complete.

Start the Conversation

We’ll talk about your goals, current priorities, and whether I’m the right fit for your organization or community.

Define the Approach

Together, we’ll establish the scope, timelines, deliverables, and the contracting approach that best fits the work.

Deliver the Work

I’ll work alongside your team, adapting as priorities evolve while keeping the work practical, collaborative, and focused on meaningful outcomes.

Reflect & Refine

We’ll check in regularly, review progress, and make adjustments as needed to keep the work aligned with your goals.

Transition with Confidence

Every engagement ends with a clear handoff, practical tools, and the confidence to carry the work forward.

Practical Information

If we’re a good fit, the information below answers some of the practical questions organizations commonly ask before getting started.

I work with First Nations, Métis organizations, urban Indigenous agencies, health and social service organizations, emergency management organizations, and rehabilitation providers across Ontario and Manitoba. If you’re unsure whether your project is a good fit, I’m always happy to have an initial conversation.

Most projects are completed under a fixed-fee agreement with clearly defined deliverables. Where the scope is less predictable—such as emergency response, surge clinical coverage, or rotational service delivery—a daily, per diem, or block-of-hours arrangement may be more appropriate. Rates and contracting options are discussed during our first conversation, along with a recommendation based on the work.

Yes. Red River Mental Health & Wellness is a Métis-owned business listed in the federally recognized Red River Métis Business Directory through Louis Riel Capital Corporation and registered under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business (PSIB), Canada’s federal Indigenous procurement program. This supports set-aside and directed procurement for federal, provincial, and organizational buyers. Purchase orders, contribution agreements, and standard vendor onboarding processes are welcome.

Yes. Services are available across Ontario and Manitoba, including rotational fly-in, fly-out work where appropriate. Travel, accommodation, and meals are billed at cost following federal meal and mileage guidelines unless arranged directly by the host organization.

Yes. I’m a Master’s-level Registered Social Worker, registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (#834770) and the Manitoba College of Social Workers (#6665).
Professional liability coverage includes $7 million per claim, $8 million aggregate, and $5 million in commercial general liability. Certificates of insurance, a current Vulnerable Sector Check, and standard vendor onboarding documentation are available upon request.

Clinical records are maintained in a secure, privacy-compliant electronic medical record unless a contract specifies otherwise. Documentation, storage, and retention follow professional standards and the requirements of PHIPA (Ontario) and PHIA (Manitoba). Where organizations require documentation within their own systems, records management is confirmed before work begins.
