Welcome to Red River
Mental Health & Wellness
Ontario-wide virtual care, with in-person options in Wardsville & Windsor
Practical support, tailored to you — wherever you are.
We help people navigate the pressures of work, life, and responsibility. Whether you’re balancing the demands of family, leadership, caregiving, or community, we provide practical, evidence-informed support for the challenges that come with being someone others depend on. Shaped by lived experience, our approach is grounded, collaborative, and tailored to your circumstances. Beyond counselling, we work alongside organizations and communities on aligned projects that strengthen capacity, while creating opportunities for connection, learning, and growth through the Red River Wellness Farm and other wellness initiatives.
How We Support Wellbeing
Counselling & Psychotherapy
A focused private practice where the right fit matters, offering collaborative, values-based support informed by the realities of rural and remote living, with flexible appointments that fit demanding schedules.

Organizations & Communities
Supporting organizations and communities to strengthen capacity through contracted mental health services, emergency management support, short-term projects, mentorship and facilitation.

Wellness Farm
Experiences that promote wellbeing through seasonal events, equine-facilitated wellness, land-based activities, workshops, and opportunities to strengthen relationships, foster belonging, and growth.
Who We Serve
Leaders, Executives & Business Owners
Support for those carrying the weight of leadership, high performance, and constant decision-making. We help leaders manage stress and burnout so they can lead with clarity while maintaining their health, relationships, and well-being.
Farmers & Rural Life
Understanding the realities of agriculture and rural life, including farm succession, family dynamics, financial uncertainty, injury, and the pressure of carrying both a livelihood and a legacy.
First Responders & Essential Workers
Designed for front-line professionals navigating critical incidents, high-pressure work, shift schedules, and the expectation to keep going. Care emphasizes early intervention, recovery, career longevity, and well-being at work and home.
Trades & Skilled Professionals
Support for people working in physically demanding, high-risk industries where accidents, injury, chronic pain, and uncertain work can affect health, relationships, and life beyond the job. We help strengthen resilience, sustain performance, and adapt through change.
Indigenous Peoples & Communities
Culturally safe, Indigenous-led care that honours identity, community, culture, and land connection. We integrate holistic and clinical approaches to support healing, balance and reconnection in ways that respect each person’s unique journey.
People Living with Chronic Illness
Support for people living with chronic illness, complex medical conditions, and chronic pain, including HS, lupus, and POTS. We help navigate medical anxiety, changing health, and life beyond diagnosis.

Guided by Experience,
Grounded in Relationship
Led by Jamie Mclntyre, BA, HBISW, MSW – Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist – our practice is guided by the belief that mental health, wellbeing, and life promotion should be accessible, relevant, and rooted in everyday experience, especially in rural and underserved communities.
Jamie’s work reflects a commitment to both care and prevention. It is shaped by a relational worldview, informed by clinical training, and grounded in lived experience as a Red River Métis woman, farmer, former frontline worker, and post-secondary instructor. Her approach centres integrity, accountability, and reciprocity, supporting individuals, workplaces, and communities with care and intention.
