& Wellness
Ontario and Manitoba-wide virtual care
In-person options in Southwestern Ontario.
Practical support, tailored to you — wherever you are.
Supporting people navigating the pressures of high-hazard work, rural life, and caregiving — farmers, tradespeople, first responders, and Red River Métis and remote First Nations communities. The support is practical, evidence-informed, and grounded in the realities you and members of your family are actually living, not a generic version of them. Beyond counselling, that work extends to organizations and communities on select, short-term projects that strengthen capacity, and to connection, learning, and growth through the Wellness Farm.
Supporting Your Wellbeing
Counselling & Psychotherapy
A focused private practice where the right fit matters, offering collaborative, values-based support informed by the realities of rural and remote living, with flexible appointments that fit demanding schedules.

Organizations & Communities
Supporting organizations and communities to strengthen capacity through contracted mental health services, emergency management support, short-term projects, mentorship and facilitation.

Wellness Farm
Experiences that promote wellbeing through seasonal events, equine-facilitated wellness, land-based activities, workshops, and opportunities to strengthen relationships, foster belonging, and growth.
Areas of Focus
Relationships & Family Transitions
Designed for the person doing this work on their own: relationship conflict, separation, infidelity, and family change. Care draws on Gottman and Emotionally Focused Therapy to support clarity and decision making.
Farmers & Rural Life
Understanding the realities of agriculture and rural life, including farm succession, family dynamics, financial uncertainty, injury, and the pressure of carrying both a livelihood and a legacy.
First Responders & Essential Workers
Designed for front-line professionals navigating critical incidents, high-pressure work, shift schedules, and the expectation to keep going. Care emphasizes early intervention, recovery, career longevity, and well-being at work and home.
Trades & Skilled Professionals
Support for people working in physically demanding, high-risk industries where accidents, injury, chronic pain, and uncertain work can affect health, relationships, and life beyond the job. We help strengthen resilience, sustain performance, and adapt through change.
Indigenous Peoples & Communities
Culturally safe, Indigenous-led care that honours identity, community, culture, and land connection. We integrate holistic and clinical approaches to support healing, balance and reconnection in ways that respect each person’s unique journey.
People Living with Chronic Illness
Support for people living with chronic illness, complex medical conditions, and chronic pain, including HS, lupus, and POTS. We help navigate medical anxiety, changing health, and life beyond diagnosis.

Guided by Experience,
Grounded in Relationship
Led by Jamie Mclntyre, BA, HBISW, MSW – Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist – our practice is guided by the belief that mental health, wellbeing, and life promotion should be accessible, relevant, and rooted in everyday experience, especially in rural and underserved communities.
Jamie’s work reflects a commitment to both care and prevention. It is shaped by a relational worldview, informed by clinical training, and grounded in lived experience as a Red River Métis woman, farmer, former frontline worker, and post-secondary instructor. Her approach centres integrity, accountability, and reciprocity, supporting individuals, workplaces, and communities with care and intention.
